ACHIEVING SUCCESS

STAYING MOTIVATED!

What is success? How do you define success? Success can mean different things to different people, however, any way you look at it it’s a measure of achieving a goal, something you have worked hard for, something you have wanted. It’s a measure of your discipline, dedication and determination.

I enjoy reading and learning about people who have done well in their field of expertize. People who have stood out from the rest of their competition and have become legends. Learning about the experiences of these people will help you put a perspective on your own goals. Be realistic do not drive for an objective which you have very little probability of attaining success. That would be the worst thing you can do, as failure will result in unhappiness.

TAKE AWAY MESSAGE: Pick a short-term realistic goal, something that you really want to achieve and know you will put in the time and required effort to come out on top. A good way to stay focused is to evaluate your progress weekly, this will help you to stay driven. Another important point to keep in mind is to spend time with people who are constructive and positive.

Ask yourself why are some people more successful than others? What makes them more driven and stay on course, while others fall by the wayside? What makes a Legend, a GOAT? These are questions that naturally come to mind of somebody who wants to live a full life. What is more important is can you achieve the same level of success, do you have what it takes?

If you look into the lives of top athletes there is something that they all have in common, that same quality can be found in people who have attained the ultimate success in their vocation. That quality is CONSISTENTCY.

What does consistency mean to an athlete? In my mind consistency means doing the same thing day in day out, giving it your best effort regardless of environment and circumstance. Everybody wants to be successful, but the fact is most people are lazy and therefore will not achieve what they want. In other words, the majority will not succeed.

If you are consistent in your training, your diet, consistently improving your technique, get the rest you require, then nobody can stop you from attaining success. Only you have the key.

A D3 attitude means you are consistent. Discipline, dedication and determination are the building blocks of consistency.

DISCIPLINE + DEDICATION + DETERMINATION = CONSISTENCY

CONSISTENCY = SUCCESS

DISCIPLINE

Discipline is training to help improve or perfect and mold a specific skillset. It does not matter what you are trying to achieve, a disciplined mindset is required. You are going to have to put in the time and effort to attain your objective.

DEDICATION

Dedication is being devoted to a cause, ideal or purpose. If you are disciplined in your actions, this will enable you to be dedicated to your cause, your objective. Dedication means you eat breathe and sleep your goal.

DETERMINATION

Determination is being fixated with an idea or cause, ensuring that you put 100% of your entire being toward your goal. A determined individual cannot be stopped from obtaining their destiny.

How to Stay D3

If you hang out with friends and people who are achievers, who are driven and have a yearning to succeed then this will help you to stay focused. Your circle of friends need to be people who you can learn from, who can help you get on the path to success and enable you to stay focused.

A NEW LIFTERS TRAINING PARTNER SHOULD BE AN EXPERIENCED LIFTER, AND, BE STRONGER.

One major drawback is having negativity in your life, you must try to eliminate the negativity. A negative thought, mindset, or actions will never help you achieve your goals, it will only put you in a reverse gear on the high way to success. You must realize only when you have eliminated the negativity in your life can you truly give 100% to your objectives.

The BOTTOM LINE

To be successful you have to manage your time, consistently work hard and be devoted to your cause. Being consistent in your approach will enable you to be one step closer to your goal, failing to be consistent means you do not really want to achieve your goal, it’s only a dream and will remain a dream until you become consistent.

As usual, I would love to hear your opinions on this subject, please remember this is just my opinion, you may feel differently, open to discussing. Hope your training is going well, Conquer Strength and Stay D3, ALL DAY and EVERY DAY.
